Board Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every odd-numbered month. Meetings are now being held in-person in the conference room next to the LTHA main office at 100 Sequoia Drive. The next meeting is scheduled for November 5th, 2024 @ 5:30 pm - A meeting notice will be sent to all members ahead of the meeting.
LANDSCAPING:
The Board has revised the Rules to better address the "Self-maintained" planting beds in the Hampton Park community. For many years, several homeowners have opted to forego the maintenance services of the association's gardening crews so they could enjoy maintaining their owner front-yard planting bed. The Board has allowed this, but this has also caused some problems, particularly when houses are sold and new owners are not made aware of this arrangement. This new draft policy is intended to resolve this issue while also updating the approved plant list which has changed to favor more varieties of plants with an eye on water conservation as well.
ARCHITECTURE:
Several revisions have been made to clearly define the process of applying for approval for any aesthetic change to any visible portions of the Hampton Park homes. Changes have been, and will continue to be allowed, but this revision is more specific about what is, and what is not allowed regarding the use of decorative rocks, statues, fences, driveways, and other visible elements. The Board's goal is to maintain a consistent and attractive appearance for all 90 homes, while still allowing room for those who wish to customize their property to suit their individual tastes.
The Board adopted these polices at the March Meeting. PDF copies of these new rules may be found here on the website in the HOA Library, and is also being mailed out to every member.
The Board has created a draft set of new rules which are compliant with all of the latest laws regarding how Hampton Park as an association conducts it elections. The Board adopted this new policy on July 5th, 2022. a PDF copy may be found here on the site in the HOA Library.
This new policy addresses the many changes imposed by the State of California which dictate how HOA elections of any sort are conducted.
